I’m an audio engineer based in the small, sunny village of Armbrust just outside of Pittsburgh. I do my work in a 100-year-old schoolhouse that’s been converted to a recording studio. My local studio, coupled with my online services, has allowed me to work with artists from all over the world.
I started out my journey as a musician. Self-taught on five instruments, I played in a variety of bands throughout my teenage years. At fifteen, I walked into a recording studio for the first time to play guitar on my then-girlfriend’s pop album and I was hooked! The studio felt like a place I could never grow tired of. Soon after I became captivated by the sound of music recordings and began to study audio engineering.
In the years that followed, I began to record local artists out of my bedroom, and sometimes theirs! I slowly started to hone my skills by taking every recording job I could get. Now I’m based in The Schoolhouse recording studio where I’ve produced and engineered over 500 songs in the past few years.
Whether you’re a band or solo artist looking for an engineer who can take your project from start to finish, or a self-recording artist looking for a dedicated professional to handle mixing and mastering for you, I’m reasonably-priced, friendly and passionate about my craft.
Music is the soundtrack of our lives. Songs are the stories of our experiences. Capturing and presenting these stories, whatever genre they may be told in, is my passionate responsibility and service to the artists who tell them.
